In this study, we developed an AD/ND-oriented web server that provides rich bioinformatics data analysis tools for AD/ND disease exploration. It provides bioinformatic data and analytical tool support for scientists in the ND field but with limited bioinformatics skills, and serves as a one-stop website for AD/ND researchers to find bioinformatics support for hypothesis generation and validation. ADE is designed to have five functional modules: PubAD, GeneAD, ToolboxAD, TargetAD, and DataAD. ADE is structured to address the bioinformatics needs of full AD research life cycle and will accelerate the drug discovery process to finally stop or reverse the AD progression.
